Getting Started

This guide leads administrators through the necessary steps and decision processes required to make strong authentication environment in the organization a success.

Table 4. This guide explores RapidIdentity Server configuration in the following modules:

Module

Description

Home

The Home module links back to the Administrator’s Portal home page.

Users

The Users module allows administrators to configure, assign, and manage users within RapidIdentity Server.

Roles

The Roles module allows administrators to configure, assign, and manage roles within RapidIdentity Server.

Sets

The Sets module allows administrators to configure the manner in which authentication methods can be assigned to users within the system.

Methods

The Methods module allows administrators to establish, configure, and manage the type of authentication methods that are permitted within the system.

Reports

The Reports module allows administrators to view user enrollment status (Current State) and the time of last access.

Policies

The Policies module allows administrators to provides centralized management of RapidIdentity Client policies and Secured Application templates.

Clients

The Clients module enables administrators to query information on all connected RapidIdentity Clients to RapidIdentity Server and to configure RapidAccess global settings.

Settings

The Settings module allows administrators to access Global Settings along with viewing and adding User Licenses.



RapidIdentity Server contains two main content areas: the Administrator’s Portal and the User Portal.
